Improvised Edge Clamp

I needed to glue a piece of edging to a panel where it would have been awkward to span the panel’s surface with long bar or pipe clamps. Then I remembered a trick a friend showed me a long time ago. I secured a couple F-style clamps to the panel as shown, and slipped opposing wedges between the clamp bar and the edging to apply clamping pressure.
