RIKON’s Z4 4-Jaw Chuck Kit 71-106 is the perfect wood lathe accessory for turning bowls, platters, spindles and decorative pieces. This larger, heavy-duty self-centering chuck is CNC precision-made from high tensile steel and features a geared jaw system for easy operation and excellent project-holding power. The redesigned chuck sliders provide added strength for securely attaching a variety of compatible jaw set accessories. Meticulously machined, the chuck body and internal gearing ensure smooth and reliable opening and closing with the included special chuck key.

  • For use on larger lathes with swings 14″ and above
  • Requires a threaded insert adapter before it can be mounted on a lathe (sold separately)
  • Different threaded insert options available
  • Extra-fine finish with etched safety icons and serial number
  • Includes a 50 mm (2″) jaw set accessory -- one of the most popular standard jaw styles for holding bowl or spindle/tenon projects
