Face Frame Cabinet Making

Learn the essential skills behind classic North American face‑frame cabinetry in this technique‑rich, hands‑on class. We’ll walk through the full process from design and layout to milling, joinery, and assembly so you can understand how high‑quality face frames, casework, drawers, and cope‑and‑stick doors come together. Through a mix of demonstrations and guided practice (you won’t build your own cabinet in class), you’ll gain the knowledge and shop techniques needed to start designing and building your own cabinetry projects with confidence. Note: a $25 materials fee (cash or Venmo) will be collected by the instructor at the start of the class.

CNC Serving Tray

Sunday, March 22, 2026, 10 AM - 2 PM

This is a beginner CNC class where students will use Vectric V-Carve or Cut2D to make their own serving tray. In the class, we will go over job setup, importing files, discuss layering, bit assignment, creating tool paths and outputting the file to the CNC. And, then it will be time to run the job and watch your project come to life! Note: A $10 materials fee (cash or Venmo) will be collected by the instructor at the beginning of class.

Epoxy & Wood: Create Your Own Tray

Ready to try something new? Learn the art of combining epoxy and wood to create a stunning serving tray using a pre-formed, quick-release silicone mold. You'll also discover how to personalize your tray by adding cool stuff like natural elements or everyday objects into the epoxy. Plus, you'll get hands-on experience using power tools to add that professional, finished look. This class is taught by Terry Daughtery, owner of Wild Edge Woodworking, who's an expert in live-edge and epoxy resin work. Note: A $60 materials fee (cash preferred) will be collected by the instructor at the beginning of class.
