Build on the Router Basics course and use the router table with ease. We will discuss and understand all the settings and capabilities of this versatile tool. You will setup and create rabbets, dadoes, and edge profiles to perfection. Even on non-regular shapes. You will also practice a stop cut, sliding dovetails and tongue and groove joinery.
Get started carving with a simple cowboy boot! Learn the basics, how to hold your tools and what they are called, how to sharpen and how best to tackle a new project. You will need a cut resistant glove and a thumb guard. Students must be at least 13 years old and accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age.
Put Your Skills to the Test in Our Scrap Wood Challenge! Calling all makers! It’s time to dig into that scrap pile and get creative. Build anything you want using any fastener—screws, nails, staples, dowels… your choice! The only rules: Your project must be fully finished (paint, stain, oil—your call) It must fit within 18" x 18" And of course… it must be made from scrap wood and a picture of the scrap wood pile that you will be using must be emailed to our store. Bring your completed creation to Woodcraft Delaware to show off your craftsmanship and compete for bragging rights (and maybe a prize or two!). Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned woodworker, this is the perfect chance to have fun, challenge yourself, and inspire others. Ready to join the fun? Start building!
